In this passion project, I wanted to explore the visual combination of jazz and surrealism. To accomplish this, I referenced surrealism’s use of collage, floating letterforms, and handmade glitches to reflect the nonsense scat words of Jazzmeia Horn’s jazz style in her album, A Social Call.
